A bug out bag is not a camping bag.
Camping assumes fun.
Bugging out assumes failure.
This bag exists for the worst Tuesday of your life.
The mission: Stay alive for 72 hours without infrastructure.
You need:
- Water filtration
- Calories
- Shelter
- Fire
- Light
- Medical basics
- Dry socks (non-negotiable)
Let me repeat something civilians always ignore:
Comfort is a survival tool.
If you’re cold, wet, hungry, and exhausted, you make stupid decisions.
Keep your bag light. If it weighs as much as a third grader, you packed wrong.
If you can’t walk three miles with it, it’s decoration.
Bug out bags are like parachutes — useless until they are very, very important.
