Flashlights: Because Darkness Is the Oldest Enemy

The first thing humans invented after fire was “more fire.”

That’s basically what a tactical flashlight is.

Here’s the deal:
Lumens make light.
Candela makes distance.

You want both, but reliability matters more than brightness.

A good flashlight should:

  • Survive rain
  • Survive drops
  • Turn on immediately
  • Recharge easily

If it requires a manual thicker than a tax code, it’s not a survival tool.

Two lights minimum:

  • One on you
  • One at home

Darkness causes panic. Light restores decision-making.

Simple as that.
